Japanese Makoto Hattori found his unique way to support Ukrainians — the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan tells his story.

Makoto Hattori owns a small cozy hotel on the shore of Lake Ashinoko in the resort town of Hakone, Japan. Once a month, he invites war-affected Ukrainians to stay in his hotel free of charge.
