Joe Biden approved an additional $675 million military aid package for Ukraine

While opening a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine Support at the U.S. Ramstein Air Base in Germany on September 8, 2022, U.S. Defense Minister Lloyd Austin mentioned that U.S. President Joe Biden approved an additional $675 million weapons package for Ukraine the day before — according to Ukrinform.
Lloyd Austin noted that other partners are also assisting Ukraine. He thanked the United Kingdom, whose support totals 2.3 billion pounds, Germany and Denmark, which have promised large additional aid packages, Poland, which has handed over three battalions of howitzers, North Macedonia, Slovakia, and other countries.
