Justin Trudeau arrived in Kyiv and announced the return of the Canadian embassy to the city

Today the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau visited Ukraine and was accompanied by Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Christia Freeland. He wrote his Twitter: “I’m in Ukraine with @cafreeland and @melaniejoly today. We’re here to show our support for Ukraine and its people. Our message to President @ZelenskyyUa and Ukrainians is this: Canada will always stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine. More to come on our visit”.

Journalists reported that the Prime Minister of Canada raised his country’s flag again over its diplomatic mission in the Ukrainian capital.
