Justin Trudeau arrived in Ukraine: he visited the ruined Irpin

Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, arrived on May 8, 2022, with a diplomatic visit to Ukraine. He visited the ruined town of Irpin and saw the consequences of the Russian occupation there.

“He came to Irpin to see the horror that the Russian invaders committed against our town. And, of course, he was shocked. After all, he saw not the military facilities burned down or destroyed but the homes of Irpin residents who had recently enjoyed life and had plans for the future,” wrote the Mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn.
