Kyiv and Hamburg became strategic partners

Kyiv and Hamburg became strategic partners and agreed to support in times of crisis. The relevant agreement between the cities was signed on April 24, 2022, by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko and Hamburg Mayor Peter Chencher. In particular, the agreement provides for Hamburg’s assistance in rebuilding Kyiv.

“This agreement is important for Kyiv. And I am grateful to Hamburg, a special city for me, for another confirmation of friendship, support, and readiness to help Kyiv and Ukraine. This is very important for us. We need help urgently. Because today Ukrainians are heroically fighting for their state, their will, for peace in the whole of Europe,” informed the Kyiv Mayor.
