Kyiv receives World Smart City Award Special Recognition for Kyiv Digital app

Ukraine’s capital Kyiv received the World Smart City Award Special Recognition for the city’s digital app.

“Withstanding the increasing pressure of Russian siege, the Kyiv Municipal Authority demonstrates how digital technologies help cities stay resilient with a focus on public safety and sustainability, multimodal mobility system while ensuring 100% of administrative services online by 2030,” the website of the award states.

Kyiv Digital is an app that has brought together essential city services and adapted them to conditions under martial law.
