Kyiv schoolboy developed a minesweeper quadcopter

The invention made by the 11th grader from Kyiv Igor Klimenko has won a silver medal at the 48th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions and a gold medal at the 21st Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE).

“It is morally difficult for me to read the news about what is happening in our country. So my biggest dream is to end the war as soon as possible, all the killings, mine explosions. I dream about the liberation of Ukraine from the Russian invaders. Minesweeper quadcopters can save the lives of hundreds or even thousands of people. So my main dream is to implement the project and start manufacturing. It motivates me to work further. I really want to provide all sappers and the military with our finished product — a device that will help them demine the territory of Ukraine much faster and more safely. Stand with Ukraine!” he said.
