Latvian aid to Ukraine is equivalent to 0.8% of its GDP
The Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica said that Latvia’s assistance to Ukraine so far is equivalent to 0.8% of its gross domestic product (GDP).
“Latvia is among the major donors if measured against the country’s gross domestic product. Our assistance to Ukraine amounts to 0.8% of our GDP,” said Kalniņa-Lukaševica.
She added that Latvia was providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, making contributions to international organisations, adjusting development cooperation priorities, and planning future involvement in the process of reconstruction of Ukraine.
