Latvian Defense Minister arrives in Ukraine for the first time

Latvian Defense Minister Inara Murniece arrives in Ukraine for the first time since being appointed to the position. Chairman of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, informed about this on Facebook.

“I am pleased to congratulate Inaru Murniece on her first visit to Ukraine as Latvia’s Minister of Defense. Inara Murniece worked hard to help Ukraine in her role as Speaker of the Latvian Saeima. I hope for more decisive assistance for Ukraine and the incoming Latvian government,” Stefanchuk stated.
