Lights out across Ukraine

Lights out across Ukraine

On Nov. 23, 2022, Russia attacked Ukrainian energy and critical infrastructure. As result, lights went out across Ukraine and most cities remain without electricity and means of communication, according to the regional administration. There is no power supply throughout the Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Lutsk, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Chernihiv oblasts, among others. Information is up to date as of 4:45 p.m. Kyiv time.

The National Railway Service reported the de-energization of its railway sections in the capital, as well as the Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv oblasts. Reserve diesel locomotives are employed to prevent delayed departure of the trains scheduled.
