Lithuania calls to set up a Special Tribunal for Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine

Lithuania calls on the international community for the establishment of a Special Tribunal for Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine, Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen stated during her visit to Ukraine on November 11, 2022.

Čmilytė-Nielsen visited the liberated territories of Ukraine, namely, Borodianka, Bucha, and Irpin.

“I started my day here by visiting the places where war crimes were committed & lives destroyed. Lithuania to move fast with helping to rebuild Ukraine, starting with a reconstruction of a school, a kindergarten, a bridge and providing a housing to dozens of families,” stated Čmilytė-Nielsen.

It was the second visit of Ms. Čmilytė-Nielsen to Ukraine since the start of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine.
