Lithuania ready to treat wounded Ukrainian servicemen — Minister of National Defense of Lithuania

Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Arvydas Anušauskas confirmed at a distance Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting that Lithuania would continue helping Ukraine withstand the Russian aggression. According to Minister, Lithuania is ready to organize various training and courses for Ukrainian soldiers and instructors and continue providing Ukraine with military equipment as well.
“We must all work together to bring the war in Ukraine to an end as soon as possible. Ukraine, which has shown its strength, must be helped in every possible way. The most important priority at the moment is training for the Ukrainian military to use Western equipment. Also, to respond to Ukraine’s pleas to support their demining capabilities, so that the territories cleared of occupant forces are safe for civilians again, the Lithuanian Armed Forces is ready to provide demining training for the Ukrainians and to provide individual explosive ordnance disposal equipment for the trained specialists,” said Minister Anušaukas.
