Lithuanian artist painted a Ukrainian border guard with his wife on the building of the Military Academy in Vilnius

A mural in support of Ukraine was painted on the building of the Military Academy of Lithuania in Vilnius by a local artist Linas Kaziulionis.
The artist was inspired by a photo by Associated Press photographer Andrii Andrienko who captured a touching moment of farewell of a border guard Vitalii and his wife at the Kramatorsk railway station.
February 27, 2022, on the third day of the full-scale war, Vitalii saw his beloved off on the train to the western part of Ukraine. Now the photo of this mural is circulating the world.
