Lithuanian parliament voted to ban Russian citizens from entering the country

Lithuanian parliament — Seimas — supported the extension of the state of emergency until mid-December 2022, and banned Russian citizens from entering the country, informs broadcaster LRT on September 13, 2022.
The ban on Russian citizens entering Lithuania comes into force on September 19, 2022.
Only dissidents, freedom fighters, other visitors on humanitarian grounds, family members of EU citizens, seafarers, people transiting Kaliningrad, and holders of long-term D-category visas will be allowed to enter Lithuania.
