Lithuanians raise over €1 million in 1 hour to buy radars for Ukraine

Lithuanian journalist and TV presenter Andrius Tapinas said that Lithuanians managed to raise €5 million for five radars for Ukraine’s air defense.

According to Tapinas, on Feb. 3, 2023, Lithuanian IT company Tesonet promised to double every bank and Paypal transfer for radars for one hour from 8 am to 9 am Kyiv time. So Lithuanians raised over €1 million just in an hour, and Lithuanian IT company doubled it to €2 million. In conclusion, the Lithuanians managed to collect the planned amount just in four days and will buy five Israel-made radars for Ukraine’s air defense.

“Our nation stands with Ukraine until the very end. Until victory!” said Tapinas on Twitter.
