Lower House of Belgian Parliament recognizes Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of Ukrainian people

The House of Representatives of Belgium — the Lower House of the Belgian Parliament — recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The decision was supported unanimously. In the text of the approved document, Belgian parliamentarians honored the memory of the Holodomor victims and condemned the current “manipulation of historical memory by the Russian regime to ensure its own survival.”
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Belgium for this decision.
