Luhansk region continues to be under attack

Hostilities continue near four settlements on the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk region, reported Serhyi Haidai, the head of Lugansk Regional Military Administration.

Yesterday, the enemy organized an offensive in these and other directions, trying to advance a few hundred meters, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed them fiercely. At night, the Russians renewed their intentions – Ukrainian defenders are holding the defense. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled seven enemy attacks on August 19, without allowing a single breakthrough.
