Luzan and Chetverikova won the gold at the 2022 European Championship in women’s C2 500m canoe sprint

At the European Championship, Ukrainians Lyudmila Luzan and Anastasia Chetverikova won the gold medal in canoeing, according to Ukrinform.

In the 500-meter double canoe race, Ukrainian ladies prevailed.

European champions Lyudmila and Anastasia successfully defended their title after winning this distance in 2021.

They took home the silver at this distance at the 2022 Olympics.

Luzan has already won two medals at this competition; her first medal was a silver in the 500-meter single canoe race.
