Lviv will soon welcome a UNESCO Cultural Center
UNESCO has announced the allocation of $1.5 million for the UNESCO Cultural Centre in Lviv. According to the plan, it should be a place for meetings and exchange of experience of artists, training programs, and various cultural and artistic events. The new cultural center is to be opened in a few months.
“The assistance of international organizations in the restoration of the cultural sector of our country is very important for Ukraine. Therefore, we are grateful to UNESCO for the decision to create such a center in Lviv and hope for the support of other measures to protect Ukrainian cultural heritage,” said Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko.
