Majority of EU citizens support supply of military equipment to Ukraine

EU citizens continue to show their unwavering solidarity with Ukraine, the latest Standard Eurobarometer survey shows.

According to the survey, 91% of EU citizens agree with the provision of humanitarian support, and 88% are in favor of welcoming into the EU people fleeing the war.

Europeans also continue to be overwhelmingly supportive of the EU funding the purchase and delivery of military equipment to Ukraine (65%).

Providing financial support to Ukraine is approved by 77%, and 74% of the interviewees support imposing economic sanctions on the Russian government, companies, and individuals.
