Mariupol children make a movie with Ukrainian directors
Children, who survived the occupation in Mariupol, make their short film, “Dreams of the Children of the City of Maria,” under the guidance of experienced curators from the Ukrainian Film School.
Ukrainian Film School, which organized a charity film camp for children from Mariupol, told Ukrinform about this.
“The project’s participants are children who escaped from the temporarily seized Mariupol. Children who not only heard about the conflict but also witnessed it firsthand. We want to discuss dreams in our documentary. For us, this is an opportunity to learn about what children have previously dreamed about and what their most cherished desire is today,” said Alyona Tymoshenko, the project’s general producer and the founder of the Ukrainian Film School.
