Maye Musk in a dress from a Ukrainian designer called for supporting Ukraine

Elon Musk’s mother, Canadian-South African model and businesswoman Maye Musk appeared in a Darja Donezz dress at The Most Powerful People in Media, hosted by The Hollywood Reporter in New York. She wrote about this on her Instagram.

Musk wrote in her post, “How did I get this beautiful dress during the war? Read this,” and published a letter from the designer’s team.

“The designer Darja Donezz was running away from the war with two tracksuits and felt right that she should pick up the collection. So to deliver this look to you was a real quest because in Kyiv even ordinary people were afraid to walk outside. Our team sent a few pieces to a safe place in Western Ukraine. From there, the parcel went to Lithuania, and from Lithuania, it was sent to the USA. Now designer temporarily took her little children to Lisbon, but the studio is working and we believe soon we could get back,” the letter reads.
