Ministry of Culture of Ukraine will sell NFT to raise money for the restoration of cultural sites destroyed by Russia
A special NFT collection by the top Ukrainian digital artists will be released to raise money for the restoration of Ukrainian cultural sites destroyed by Russians. A collection will be presented by an international content platform Depositphotos, META HISTORY museum, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
META HISTORY was created a month after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion and has already raised more than $1.2 million. At the end of May 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine became an official partner of the META HISTORY museum, starting the joint work on several special NFT collections. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of digital works will be directed to restoring Ukrainian cultural heritage.
Also, a special collection of NFTs will be presented for the Independence Day of Ukraine [August 24, 2022]. It is created by the international content platform Depositphotos together with Ukrainian artists. This collection will show about 30 works, which are creative reinterpretations of cultural objects destroyed during the war.
