Money from the central bank and the sale of war bonds have been the largest sources of financing for Ukraine’s state budget since the start of the war

From the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine to May 10, 2022, the main sources of income for the state budget of Ukraine were the financing from the National Bank of Ukraine — $3.419 billion, or UAH 100 billion, and war bonds, which provided $2.382 billion, or UAH 65.105 billion, according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
In addition, among the main sources of financing for the state budget, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine named loans from international financial organizations, bilateral loans, and grants, with the EU, the United States, Canada, and France being the largest donors among nations.
