Montenegro donates 11% of its military budget to support Ukraine

Montenegro and Ukraine signed a joint declaration on the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Ukraine. Montenegro pledges to support Ukraine in its efforts to become a full-fledged member of the Euro-Atlantic society.

“The Government of Montenegro shows clear determination to support the defense of Ukrainians together with its allies, both by donating 11% of funds from the military budget and by receiving thousands of refugees,” the website of the Government of Montenegro informs.

Montenegro became the third NATO country to sign such a declaration after Belgium and the Czech Republic.
