More than 200 animals rescued from war will spend this winter in the Kyiv Zoo

More than 200 animals rescued from the most affected regions of Ukraine will spend the winter in the Kyiv Zoo, Kyiv City Council reports.

The Kyiv Zoo assures that their employees are doing everything to ensure that the animals are in warmth, cared for and fed. So now the zoo is stockpiling food, insulating buildings, purchasing electric generators, infrared heaters and wood-burning stoves.
