More than 250,000 books were sent from Ukraine to Ukrainian children-refugees abroad within the initiative “Ukrainian books for Ukrainian children”

The Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko, stated that the initiative “Ukrainian books for Ukrainian children” is aimed at helping refugees from Ukraine and primarily children, to continue practicing reading in their native language.
The charitable initiative has been launched by the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. Hundreds of large and small publishing houses joined the initiative by handing over thousands of their pre-war published books from their warehouses to the organizers.
