More than 3,000 Ukrainian children have been left without parental care since the start of the full-scale war

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, more than 3,000 children have been left without parental care, as stated by Volodymyr Vovk, Deputy Director of Children’s Rights Protection and Equality Standards Department of the National Social Service of Ukraine, on August 12, 2022.

According to him, 541 children lost parental care directly due to the war. The parents of 106 of them were killed.
