More than 700 missiles and drones launched by Russia on Ukraine’s energy objects since October 2022
From Oct. 10, 2022, till Jan. 26, 2023, Russian forces have launched over 700 missiles and drones on Ukraine’s energy system, Chairman of Ukraine’s Parliament Committee on Energy Andriy Gerus told Liga.net.
According to Gerus, having shelled Ukrainian energy facilities, Russian forces practically destroyed the infrastructure in eight regions: Donetsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kherson, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions.
Due to Russian attacks, at least 50% of Ukraine’s power system, the Ministry of Energy reports.
