More than 84 missiles and air strikes target infrastructure and civilians of over 20 settlements
According to the spokesperson of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the infrastructure and civilians of more than 20 settlements have been recorded as affected by Russian country-wide attack as of 6 p.m. Among those targeted and affected were Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Pryluky, Nizhyn, Konotop, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa.
Civilian injuries and casualties are in the process of being established. Over 84 rocket and air strikes were launched by the Russian forces targeting the entire territory of Ukrainian on October 10, 2022. For attacks on cities and villages, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack unmanned aerial vehicles were used. The Ukrainian air defense successfully downed 43 cruise missiles and 13 unmanned aerial vehicles. The threat of future air and missile strikes targeting the entire territory of Ukraine remains.
