More than 9,600 people left Donetsk region
The mandatory evacuation of the population is ongoing in the Donetsk region.
More than 9,600 people have already left the region, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported on August 26, 2022. This number includes 1,785 children.
According to Tymoshenko, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Ternopil and Kyiv regions welcomed displaced persons mostly.
