Mykolaiv lost up to 90% of its business since the Russian full-scale invasion began

Since the full-scale Russian invasion started, the southern city of Mykolaiv has lost up to 90% of its business, Mykolaiv mayor Oleksandr Senkevich told Ukrainina journalists.
“Today, the city survives solely at the expense of the military income tax. But after the end of the war, such a situation may arise that we will stop receiving this personal income tax as well, and there will be no new funds from our taxpayers,” said Senkevich. According to the mayor of Mykolaiv, it is necessary to create special economic zones to stimulate investments.
