NATO should consider Ukraine’s membership immediately after the war

Czech President-elect Petr Pavel stated in his interview with Suspilne public broadcaster that Ukraine’s membership in NATO should be considered immediately after the war with Russia ends.

“I would support such a decision because I believe that Ukraine deserves to be considered as a new member of NATO — for maintaining standards and for protecting values that are important to all of us,” stated Petr Pavel.

The Czech President-elect added that the Ukrainian military would probably be the most experienced of all and would be a great advantage to NATO countries.
