“NATO will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes. We will not back down”

NATO will not let down in its support of Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated on November 25, 2022. This statement previews the NATO Foreign Ministers meeting that will take place in Bucharest next week.

“NATO will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes. We will not back down,” added NATO Secretary General.

Jens Stoltenberg noted that NATO would help Ukraine transition from Soviet-era equipment to modern NATO standards, doctrine, and training over the longer term.
