Near Severodonetsk Russians killed a pro-Ukrainian disabled volunteer in a wheelchair
Near Severodonetsk Russians came to the house of the pro-Ukrainian volunteer Alexander Kononov and shot him in a wheelchair — the chairman of the Luhansk regional administration reported. Kononov lost his arm and leg as a result of an accident. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, he has been helping Ukrainian volunteers: he used his car to transport food, and sometimes to deliver soldiers to their positions. Together with his wife Alexander was arrested by local ‘militia’ and spent 98 days in captivity. After the liberation, he founded his own business “Sanych Cheese”, which he did first in the Zhytomyr region, then in the Cherkasy region. He later returned to his native Luhansk region.
