Negotiations on Ukraine’s EU membership could start this year

There is currently an agreement that negotiations on our country’s membership in the European Union can begin in 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in his speech.

“Another Ukraine-EU summit was held in Kyiv today. We have explicit agreements with our partners on how Ukraine will get further closer to the EU. What exactly did we agree on today? It is expected that negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union would begin this year,” he stated.
