Nine Ukrainian explosives experts engaged in de-mining of Kherson region killed in a single Russian attack

Nine Ukrainian explosives experts who were engaged in de-mining were killed in a single Russian attack in the southern Kherson region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his latest evening address on May 7, 2023.
The attack happened on May 6. Initially, it was reported that six people were killed. However, according to updated data, the death toll has increased to 9. Employees of the State Emergency Service were engaged in humanitarian demining of the Kherson region. “They were restoring safety for our people,” President Zelenskyy said.
