Norwegian instructors train Ukrainian military in the UK
10,000 Ukrainian servicemen undergo training in the UK, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports. The Ukrainian soldiers are trained by about 70 Norwegian instructors, who come from the so-called Rapid Response Forces, from the mechanized battalion Telemark of the Nord brigade of the Norwegian Army Land Forces.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the goal is to strengthen the resilience of Ukrainian defense and contribute to the development of the armed forces. This fall, 10,000 servicemen will attend the training. Another 19,000 are to be trained next year.
