On Europe Day main landmarks across the EU were illuminated with the colors of Ukraine
On Europe Day, celebrated on May 9, 2022, the buildings of the EU institutions in Brussels and many other EU countries were illuminated with the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
European countries expressed their solidarity with the people of Ukraine amid brutal Russian aggression.
