On Europe Day, the national flag of Ukraine was raised next to the EU flags near the European Commission building. “Today, we are flying the Ukrainian flag in the heart of Europe. As we mark Europe Day, we reaffirm our unwavering support and solidarity to Ukraine and its people. We stand by the Ukrainian people for as long as it takes,” the statement on the official Twitter account of the European Commission reads.
