Oscar-winning film director Michel Hazanavicius visits Kyiv

Michel Hazanavicius, film director and Oscar award winner, arrived in Kyiv on Feb. 7, 2023, United 24 fundraising platform reports.

Michel Hazanavicius became widely known for his black-and-white film The Artist, which won him an Oscar for Best Picture in 2011.

A month ago, Hazanavicius donated €125,000 to reconstruct the Izium City Hospital, which was destroyed and looted by the Russian military.
