“Our first priority to is help Ukraine defend itself” New U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink arrived in Kyiv

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink has arrived in Kyiv to start her mission as the head of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
“Ambassador Brink was nominated by President Biden to be U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine on April 25, 2022, confirmed unanimously by the U.S. Senate on May 18, 2022, and arrived in Kyiv on May 29, 2022,” the report of the U.S. Embassy states.
“Our first priority is to help Ukraine defend itself. On this Memorial Day, I paid my respects to those who have died defending their country, presented my credentials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and began discussions on how we can support Ukraine,” Brink said on Twitter.
