Over 100 civilians killed in Sumy region, bodies show signs of torture — Sumy Regional Military Administration

Russian invaders killed over 100 civilians in Sumy region; the search continues for missing residents of the region. Destruction of local infrastructure incurred losses that exceed UAH 10 billion, informed Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, during a Ukraine Media Centre briefing.

“Over 100 civilians were killed. Unfortunately, this number is increasing every day as new bodies are found — bodies with their hands tied, with signs of torture, shot in the head, these are all frightening cases.

Many people have gone missing. Some are being held captive; talks are being held with regard to their liberation. There are many residents whom we know nothing about: shelled cars have been found on the roads and in forests but we don’t know what has happened to the people who were in those cars,” Zhyvytskyi said.
