Over $125 million in crypto donations have been collected by the Ukrainian government and other entities since the beginning of the war

Over $125 million in crypto donations have been collected since the beginning of Russia’s war on Ukraine, reported Crystal, a company that monitors crypto transactions. A slight majority of the crypto donations made so far (52%) have been targeted to support the Ukrainian army, with a slightly lesser amount of donations (48%) made to humanitarian programs supporting the cause. Most of the donations have been in ETH (ether), BTC (bitcoin), USDT (Tether), and BUSD (Binance USD).
At the end of February 2022, the state Crypto Fund of Ukraine, initiated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, was launched in Ukraine to raise money to support the army. Since then, it has raised more than $60 million from all over the world. The fund accepts 25 crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether.
Different NGOs accept crypto donations as well. For example, Come Back Alive, one of the largest funds to help the military, accepts SWIFT transfers, hryvnias, as well as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether.
