Over 2,000 students from 27 countries are stuck in Sumy due to enemy shelling

Iryna Vereshchuk, The Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories said: “Taking foreign students as hostages — this is exactly what the Russians in Ukraine are doing, blocking their evacuation. India — 659 students, China — 160, Turkey — 144, Nigeria — 400 students. These students are citizens of the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Southeast Asia, including South Africa, Kazakhstan, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia.”
