Over 4 000 Ukrainian orphans are currently held in Russia and temporarily occupied parts of Ukraine

Nearly 4,400 Ukrainian orphans and children deprived of parental care are currently held in Russia and temporarily occupied parts of Ukraine, as reported by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk.
She noted that due to Russiaʼs concealment of any information about them, all possible agencies are involved in the search. Also, all received materials are transferred to the International Criminal Court, which investigates these crimes too.
“There’s already enough evidence. We hope our efforts and pressure from the international community will speed up the process of returning our children,” stated the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine
