Over 400 enterprises have been relocated from the areas of hostilities to safer regions in Ukraine
Ukrainian state relocation program has already helped 400 enterprises to move from the battlefields to safer regions in the country, according to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
More than 200 relocated businesses have already resumed operations. Hundreds of others are still on the waiting list, while over a thousand applications for relocation have been received by the Ministry as of April 17, 2022.
Enterprises are being relocated to nine regions in the west of Ukraine. Government helps to relocate companies’ staff to the west of Ukraine and to settle them there, as well as to find new premises for business, get connected to gas, water, and electricity supply, and find new employees. The relocation of enterprises is carried out at the state’s expense.
