Over 800,000 Ukrainians had their homes destroyed during the war

According to Olena Shuliak, the leader of the “Sluha Narodu” party, more than 800,000 inhabitants of Ukraine must rebuild or repair their homes that have been damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression.

For almost two months, the state has been gathering data from residents regarding homes destroyed or damaged. More than 220,000 persons submitted applications, and it was discovered that more than 15 million square meters of housing had been destroyed. In total, more than 800,000 Ukrainians require home renovation or repair.
