“Peace can be achieved by supporting Ukraine”
The only way to facilitate a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine is helping Kyiv to defend itself militarily, Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni told parliament. — Reuters reported.
“Peace can be achieved by supporting Ukraine … it is the only chance we have for the two sides to negotiate,” she added.
Meloni noted that it is vital for Italy’s prestige and international reputation to continue supplying Ukraine with arms.
