Pink Floyd collects £500,000 for Ukraine with ‘Hey, Hey, Rise Up’ single
Legendary British rock band Pink Floyd raised £500,000 for Ukraine with the ‘Hey, Hey, Rise Up’ single. The money will be transferred to charitable organizations which help Ukrainians.
‘Hey, Hey, Rise Up’ is a Ukrainian song. In April 2022, Pink Floyd recorded the single using vocals of the frontman of the Ukrainian Boombox band, Andriy Khlyvnyuk. The rock band released the song to help “alleviate the suffering” of the people in the war-torn country.
